More About Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah, a parent coach with over 15 years of experience in education and work with children and parents.

My dedication to children and education runs deep. It started when I was just twelve and launched a summer camp out of my parent's basement yes— inspired by the Babysitters Club). Since then I have worked with children, adolescents, and parents in both public and private school. Over my decade as a classroom teacher, I taught middle and high school social studies, science, social-emotional learning, and served as a Dean of Students.

My interest in supporting parents blossomed during my time as a Dean of Students. I began hearing from parents who were overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure of how to help their children. These conversations lit a fire in me. I realized many parents feel isolated, grappling with the pressure to be perfect, which can prevent them from trusting their own instincts and authenticity in their parenting.

These observations inspired me to create parent education workshops, where I learned that it’s not just “expert” information, but also the sense of community and connection that parents need. I found that I was particularly skilled in offering parents a nonjudgemental, compassionate, and safe container to be seen and supported. Through our work together, I heard from parents that they gained tangible skills, confidence, and a connection to their own voice and intuition. I knew that I wanted to support more parents in this way.

When I’m not coaching parents, I enjoy hiking around the Bay Area, sewing, dancing, and celebrating the two successfully grown tomatoes in my garden.
